My daughter and I were welcomed by James, (front desk receptionist) upon our arrival to our appointment. James asked me for my identification and insurance card, as he provided forms for me to sign. The lobby is kid friendly and clean. My daughter’s concerns were identified to Dr. Charles. Dr. Charles was very professional and helpful as he examined my daughter. Dr. Charles guided me on the steps to take to be able to assist my daughter’s further needs. This is our first visit. I recommend this place.

Dr Niesen is one of a kind. Besides being a caring Nuerologist, he really takes the time to know his patients and seek the best course of action. Seizures are constantly changing and needing medicine adjusting and he keeps up on the latest drug and combinations to beat & treat symptoms and have long lasting results. He's kind, personable, interested and always looking for the best for his patients. He is constantly researching asking questions of the environment and daily living activities and finding latest medicine that won't harm the body/organs. Most of all he listens to the parents and makes himself available whether in Saturday appointments and web calls and most of all in times of crisis. He is an excellent doctor. I’m glad I found him. He has helped me a lot over the past year. I have calm down quite a bit because of the medication that he prescribes for me. When I can’t make it to his office, he will even call me on the phone to know how I am doing.

One word, a great doctor in every way!

Dr Niesen has a wealth of knowledge, he's easy to talk to ,makes you feel comfortable. The only thing is he forgets to do things like order/ refill medication. But none the less we love Dr Niesen.

The only negative thing I could say is to plan a lot of extra time for your appointment. I have spent a lot of time in the waiting room, or for scheduled phone appointments.

We have only had one appointment so far but the appointment with Dr Neilson was very thorough and pleasant. He explained things in an easy to understand way. I felt like Dr Nielsen took the time to ask a lot of questions before advising next steps which is great.

We are so happy to find ams neurology , extremely caring doctor and genuine and down to earth staff. In addition , the office space is very organized , energetic and kids friendly with tons of colorful Disney picture to make any kid and parent at ease and welcome ! The doctor took his time to really listen to my daughters concerns with no judgment and I felt he truly wanted to help her not just as another patient and another file but to help another human being , to end her struggles and daily pain and ours as parents ! I left a massage for the staff on the voicemail after hours after first visit regarding difficulty finding her new medication and the doctor himself called me within an hour!!! I don’t know about you but I don’t know too many doctors who call patients after business hours and to me that is genuine concern towards his patients wellbeing ! We have been there just one time but I am super grateful !
